My name is Alex Rashid, professionally known as Barry McGilbert. I'm a 17 year old cinematographer, editor, and photographer based in Houston, Texas. Born in Hackensack, New Jersey, my journey to videography has been a long one shaped by my passion for basketball and my deep feeling of obligation to help those around me reach their goals. Competing and training as an athlete for my entire life has filled my mind with experiences and interactions that naturally leak out into my filming and editing process, helping me connect to athletes in a unique and personal way. While much of my portfolio is related to sports, I'm always looking to expand into new spaces and collaborate with individuals, brands, and businesses across a variety of industries.
